Delete your account and data

This page explains how to delete your account and data for the Festival Buddy app for iPhone and Android.

Delete everything from within the app

Festival Buddy has built-in, one-tap account deletion. It removes your account and all associated data immediately, from the cloud and from your device.

• iPhone: open the Info tab, then Account & Backup, then Delete account & data, and confirm.
• Android: open Settings (the cog at the top left), then Delete account and data, and confirm.

Or ask us to do it

If you can no longer access the app, send us a message through the contact page. Tell us how you signed in (Apple, Google, or the email address on the account) so we can find it. We aim to action requests within 30 days.

What gets deleted

• Your ratings, including post-event set ratings.
• Your saved lineup and reminders.
• Your optional profile (age band and gender) and any friend connections.
• Your notification token, usage totals, account identifier and any linked sign-in (Apple or Google).

Deletion is immediate and irreversible. There is no recovery period and deleted data cannot be restored.

What is retained

Aggregate, anonymous statistics (counts and average scores only, with no names, accounts or identifiers) may be retained, as they contain nothing that can be linked back to you. See the app privacy policy for details.
